Dvořák Park and the quieter springs
Highlights
- A park named for a composer
- A spring locals actually use
- Bottles filled away from the crowds
- The quieter side of spa culture
- A riverside walk among the springs
About this tour
This session covers Dvořák Park and a quieter spring along its paths, away from the crowds at the main colonnades. You see the riverside layout named for the composer, then a smaller spring where locals fill their own bottles. It is a calmer look at the town's spa culture.
I keep a relaxed pace throughout, since the park invites it more than the busier streets do. Questions come as we walk, and I am happy to slow down further if something along the path interests you. A short note on the spring's mineral content follows by message afterwards.
This suits anyone who has already seen the main colonnades and wants a quieter side of the town. It also suits viewers interested in how locals actually use the springs day to day.
Included

The camera takes in the riverside park named for the composer, and I explain why it was laid out among more of the town's mineral springs.

We stop at a smaller spring away from the main colonnades, and I show how locals still fill bottles here rather than queueing at the busier ones.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
