Vistula boulevards, sunset to dark
Highlights
- The river at sunset, then after dark
- A boulevard that fills up each evening
- Riverside bars, lit for the night
- Krakow's evening, away from Kazimierz
- A relaxed, outdoor side of the city
About this tour
This evening session follows the Vistula boulevards from sunset into the evening, when a row of riverside bars fills up. You see the light fading over the water first, then the boulevard as it comes alive after dark. It is a look at how central Krakow spends an evening away from Kazimierz's cellar bars.
We start at sunset with a short sound check, then move along the boulevard as the bars fill up. I explain how this stretch of riverside became so popular as we go, taking questions throughout. A short list of venues follows by message afterwards.
It suits anyone wanting a relaxed, outdoor evening rather than an indoor bar crawl. It also pairs well with the dragon and riverside session earlier in the day.

Boulevard at sunset 21 min
The camera opens as the light starts to fade over the river, and I explain how the boulevards have become one of the city's most-used public spaces in recent years.
-
Riverside bars lit for the evening 21 min
We move past a row of riverside bars, and you see the boulevard fill up as the evening properly begins.

-
A short list to keep 4 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Pierogi and Kazimierz, worth a slower look.
Good to know
- A stable wifi or mobile connection makes the picture smoother than a shaky one.
- Any phone, tablet or laptop with a camera works. You watch, the guide does the walking.
- Times are shown in Warsaw time, so check the time where you are before you book.
- The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.
- Ask questions any time, out loud or in the chat. The guide will pause to answer.
- Sessions run in small groups, up to 8 people, so there is room for everyone to ask something.
Questions about this tour
What will the session cover?
The guide walks through Krakow, showing you Boulevard at sunset and Riverside bars lit for the evening live on camera, plus whatever else you would like to see.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
