About this tour
This call is a short conversation about Alfama, taken from the same streets I grew up in. I answer whatever you are deciding about the neighbourhood, whether that is timing, viewpoints or how the alleys actually connect to each other.
After a brief sound check we go straight into your questions, comparing routes and the quietest times to visit. I send a short list of names and streets once the call ends.
It suits travellers planning their own visit to Alfama who want a local's honest read before they go. Nothing is booked during the call; it is a conversation only.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
