Cape Kamenjak's wild coastline
Highlights
- Limestone cliffs cut by the sea
- A quiet cove with clear water
- A protected nature reserve, explained
- A lighthouse at the peninsula's tip
- Istria's wildest stretch of coast
About this tour
This session follows the limestone cliffs of Cape Kamenjak, the wild peninsula south of Pula protected as a nature reserve. You see the cut ledges and low arches along the cliff path, a quiet cove with clear water below, and the lighthouse marking the peninsula's southern tip. It is the wildest stretch of coast this close to the city.
We move along the cliff path stop by stop, checking the connection whenever the wind picks up, and take questions at each point rather than only at the end. A short list of the three stops follows once the session closes.
It suits anyone who wants Istria's coastline shown properly rather than glimpsed from a beach. It also suits early or late bookings, when the light on the water is at its best.
Included
- Live video walk with a local guide

Itinerary
-
Welcome and sound check 7 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of Pula before heading out.
-
The cliff path 21 min
The camera follows the limestone cliff path along Kamenjak, and I point out how the rock has been cut by the sea into ledges and low arches.
-
A quiet cove 21 min
We drop down to a cove cut into the cliffs, and I show the clear water and explain why this stretch of coast is a protected nature reserve.
-
The lighthouse point 21 min
At the southern tip I show the lighthouse marking the end of the peninsula, with open sea and, on a clear day, the outline of nearby islands.
-
Your questions 14 min
Time to ask anything about Pula: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 6 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Fuži with game ragù and Veruda, worth a slower look.
Good to know
- A stable wifi or mobile connection makes the picture smoother than a shaky one.
- Any phone, tablet or laptop with a camera works. You watch, the guide does the walking.
- Times are shown in Zagreb time, so check the time where you are before you book.
- The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.
- Ask questions any time, out loud or in the chat. The guide will pause to answer.
- Sessions run in small groups, up to 10 people, so there is room for everyone to ask something.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
