About this tour
This session covers the building now housing the Rhodes Archaeological Museum, originally built as the Knights' hospital in the fifteenth century. Michalis shows the arcaded courtyard and explains how the building once cared for sick and injured knights and pilgrims. He then points the camera through a window toward the marble Aphrodite of Rhodes, one of the museum's best known pieces.
Michalis checks his connection in the courtyard before walking its arcades slowly, explaining the building's original function as he goes. He answers questions about the museum's collection and points out the Aphrodite once it comes into view. A short list of what was seen follows the call.
This suits travellers interested in both medieval architecture and ancient sculpture in a single session. It also works well as background before a visit of your own.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
