Plan a Siena history route
Highlights
- A history route, planned together
- Sites connected by real history
- A written route sent afterwards
- Your own interests, prioritised
- Questions answered before you start
About this tour
This short call helps plan a history-focused route through Siena before you go. I work through the main sites with you on a map, explaining which ones connect to the city's banking and political past specifically. You leave with an order that makes historical sense.
We spend most of the call on your specific interests within that history, since Siena's story covers a lot of ground. A short written route follows by message once we finish.
It suits anyone planning to explore Siena's history independently but wanting a clearer sense of connections first. It also works well before booking one of my longer video sessions.
Included
- A 30-minute call with a local guide
- Honest tips on where to eat, stay and what to skip
- A short follow-up note with every place mentioned
Not included
- Bookings made on your behalf
- Phone or data charges from your provider

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
