About this tour
This session walks Bilbao's Siete Calles, the seven original streets of the old town, starting from the arcaded Plaza Nueva. You see the uniform neoclassical square and the narrower medieval streets just beyond it. Jon explains which trades gave each street its name.
The walk moves from the square into the grid of streets at a steady pace, with Jon keeping his commentary brief and letting the architecture carry most of the session. He answers questions about the old town's layout as they come up.
This suits anyone who wants a clear, unhurried introduction to Bilbao's oldest streets. It also works well as a first stop before Jon's longer medieval walls session.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
