About this tour
This session is an evening among three wine bars in and around Split's old palace walls. The camera moves from a bar built into the palace stone to a second serving small plates of anchovies, cheese and pršut, then to a third down a quiet lane. Between pours it follows the night streets of the palace with almost nobody else on them.
After a sound check, the call moves bar to bar at an unhurried pace, with the guide talking through six Dalmatian and island wines as they come up and taking questions along the way. A short list of the wines and where to find them goes out afterwards.
This suits anyone who prefers a quiet glass of wine and conversation over a loud night out, and anyone curious about Dalmatian wine without wanting a formal tasting course. It also suits someone who has done the noisier version of a Split night out and wants something calmer.

The camera settles into a small wine bar built into the old palace stone, where the guide pours from a short list of Dalmatian wines and explains what makes each one distinct.

At a second bar just outside the walls, the camera catches small plates of anchovies, cheese and pršut being set out, plainly, before the next glass is poured.
-
Third bar, empty streets 21 min
The last bar sits deeper in a quiet lane, and between pours the camera follows the empty palace streets at night, the guide making clear this walk skips the loud crawl crowd entirely.

-
A short list to keep 6 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Soparnik (savoury pie) and Varoš, worth a slower look.

- The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.
- Ask questions any time, out loud or in the chat. The guide will pause to answer.
- Sessions run in small groups, up to 10 people, so there is room for everyone to ask something.
Questions about this tour
What will the session cover?

What happens if my connection drops?
Rejoin with the same link within a few minutes and the guide will catch you up on anything you missed.
Can I ask the guide questions during the session, or is it a fixed script?

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
