A call about the Valpolicella wine hills
Highlights
- A wine region, mapped out live
- Valpolicella and Amarone, explained
- A plan built around your own time
- A written plan to keep
- Local advice before you land
About this tour
This call is a planning session for anyone wanting to fit the Valpolicella wine hills into a short Verona trip. I talk through the area on a shared map and explain the difference between Valpolicella and Amarone, the region's best known wines. By the end you have a short plan matched to how much time you actually have.
We start with a sound check, then I bring up the map and talk through the hills and the towns within them. You can stop me with questions about the wines or the area as we go, and I adjust the plan to fit your trip. Afterwards I send the plan again in writing.
It suits anyone with an interest in wine who wants local advice before deciding how to spend the time. It also works well booked a few days before you travel.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
