About this tour
This short session looks at London from a few of its best viewpoints, from the Thames at Waterloo Bridge to the open ground of Hyde Park. You see the river with St Paul's on one side and Parliament on the other, then the park as locals use it rather than as a route between sights. It is a quick tour built around light and open space rather than buildings.
The call opens with a sound check, then moves between the two viewpoints inside the hour, with the guide timing each one for the best light available. A short list of the spots and the best times to see them follows afterwards.
This suits anyone with a short window of time who still wants a live look at the city. It also suits those planning a visit and wanting to know when to turn up at each spot.

Itinerary
-
Welcome and sound check 5 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of London before heading out.
-
Waterloo Bridge 21 min
The camera looks both ways along the Thames from Waterloo Bridge, the guide picking out St Paul's dome on one side and the Houses of Parliament on the other, and naming the best time of day to catch the light.
-
Hyde Park at golden hour 21 min
In Hyde Park, the guide walks along the Serpentine as the light turns gold, pointing out where locals go to run, row or just sit rather than the paths most visitors follow.
-
Your questions 9 min
Time to ask anything about London: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 4 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Sunday roast and Notting Hill, worth a slower look.

- The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.

- Sessions run in small groups, up to 12 people, so there is room for everyone to ask something.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
