The dwarves of Wroclaw
Highlights
- One of the earliest dwarf statues
- A trail of several hundred figures
- A protest symbol turned city trademark
- Different poses on every street
- A lighter, more playful session
About this tour
This session follows a small trail of Wroclaw's bronze dwarf statues, from one of the earliest placed in the city to a cluster further along one street. You see the statues in their different poses and settings, and I explain how a small protest symbol grew into several hundred figures across the city. It stays light and visual rather than heavily historical.
I start with a sound check by the first dwarf, then walk a short route finding several more along the way. Questions are welcome throughout, and I send a short map afterwards marking a few worth finding yourself.
This suits anyone who wants a lighter, more playful session, including families. It also works well alongside the call session for the fuller political story behind them.
Included
- Live video walk with a local guide

- A short list of places to visit later

- The session is not recorded, and recording it yourself is not allowed. Feel free to take your own notes.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
