About this tour
This evening call covers the Tuileries Garden as the light softens, tracing paths originally laid out for a royal palace demolished over a century ago. Marc finishes in the smaller Jardin du Carrousel, closer to the Louvre's pyramid. The session focuses on how a formal garden built for one purpose still serves a completely different city today.
Marc starts among the main paths with a short check of the light. He walks at an easy pace toward the smaller garden, answering questions about the garden's design as they arrive, and sends a short note on the best evening times afterwards.
It suits anyone who prefers gardens explained in detail rather than just walked through. It also works well as a calm finish to a busier day of sightseeing.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
