About this tour
This session rides the Fjellheisen cable car up Mount Storsteinen and films the view from the platform at the top. You see the city and surrounding islands appear below during the ride and the wider coastline from the summit. Espen explains how the light changes the view through the year, from midnight sun to polar night.
He keeps the ride itself fairly quiet, letting the changing view do the work, then slows down at the platform. Questions about the northern lights or the midnight sun come up often from this vantage point, and he answers both.
