About this tour
This evening session climbs the Schlossberg to its viewing tower as the light fades over the Black Forest. You see the wooded path rising above the old town, the full view from the tower, and the tree line darkening against the sunset. It is a slow climb built entirely around the changing light.
I keep an easy pace on the way up so the view builds gradually rather than all at once. Questions about the forest and the hill come naturally along the path, and I send a short note afterwards.
This suits anyone who wants a calmer, more scenic session away from the old town streets. It also works well as a closing session at the end of a longer day.

The camera follows the wooded path up the Schlossberg, and I point out which trees mark the start of the Black Forest proper.
