About this tour
This early call shows Place du Tertre before the painters arrive for the day, still holding the shape of a square that has drawn artists since the nineteenth century. Isabelle walks to nearby Rue de l'Abreuvoir, one of the most painted streets in the district. The session focuses on the square's history rather than the finished paintings sold there later in the day.
Isabelle starts in the empty square with a short sound check. She walks at a relaxed pace toward the painted street nearby, answering questions about the district's artist history as they arrive, and sends a short note on when the square fills up.
It suits early risers and anyone who prefers a quiet look at a usually crowded square. It also works well before a longer walk through the rest of the hill.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
