- Highland dance in traditional dress
- Instruments explained before the music starts
- Zakopane's evening, highland roots and all
About this tour
This evening session follows Krupowki Street into one of the town's highland music taverns. You see the street as the evening crowd builds, then a band setting up inside a wooden tavern, finishing with dancers in traditional highland dress. It is a look at how Zakopane's evenings mix its highland roots with its life as a resort town.
We start on the street with a short sound check, then move inside once the tavern is filling up. I explain the instruments and the costume details as the performance goes on and take questions throughout. A short list of other taverns follows by message afterwards.
It suits anyone wanting a livelier, evening side of Zakopane beyond the mountains. It also pairs well with an earlier session on the Zakopane style for a fuller day.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
