About this tour
This session looks at the wines of the Serranía de Ronda, from a hillside view over the vineyards themselves to a local shop counter explaining what is actually in the bottles. You see the landscape that shapes the wine before hearing how to read an unfamiliar label. The route stays short, moving from view to explanation.
We start on the hillside with a quick check of the light over the vines, then move to the shop counter, pausing to explain a few labels in detail. Questions come in throughout, and I send a short list of producer names afterward.
This suits anyone curious about a wine region still building its reputation, and travellers who prefer learning about a place through what it grows. It runs in the late afternoon, ahead of dinner.
Included
- Live video session with a local guide
- A close look at the dishes and where locals buy them

Itinerary
-
Welcome and sound check 5 min
The guide joins the video call, checks the picture and sound with you, and gives you a quick sense of Ronda before heading out.
-
A view over the vineyards 21 min
The camera looks out from a hillside edge over rows of vines in the Serranía de Ronda, and I explain how the region's altitude and cooler nights have helped its wines gain recognition in recent decades.
-
A wine shop counter 21 min
You see a counter lined with bottles from small local producers, and I explain how to read a Serranía de Ronda label, since grape names here are less familiar than in larger wine regions.
-
Your questions 9 min
Time to ask anything about Ronda: prices, safety, food, or whatever you are curious about.
-
A short list to keep 4 min
Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Rabo de toro and La Ciudad, worth a slower look.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
