About this tour
This session shows the view from Piazzale Michelangelo in the calm of early morning rather than the busier sunset hour. You see the terrace nearly empty, and the skyline in the cooler, softer light of morning. The quiet of the hour is as much the subject as the view itself.
We move slowly since there is no need to compete for space this early, and I compare the morning light directly to the warmer tones of sunset. I take questions quietly throughout.
It suits anyone who prefers a calmer version of a famous view. It also works well for early risers wanting to start a day in Florence with the wider picture first.
