Davide Conti

I have filmed sunsets from Piazzale Michelangelo more times than I can count, and I know exactly which spot along the terrace gives the clearest view back over the whole city. I explain what you are actually looking at across the skyline, from the Duomo's dome to the towers of the Palazzo Vecchio, rather than just letting the view speak for itself. I keep my narration brief while the light is at its best, then explain more once the view has settled. I try to time sessions around when the light is doing something worth showing.
