Devesa Park and the river at dawn
Highlights
- Rows of towering nineteenth-century plane trees
- One of Catalonia's largest tree-lined parks
- Where two rivers meet below Girona
- A quiet, green edge to the old town
- Morning light along the river Ter
About this tour
This early walk covers Devesa Park, Girona's green edge outside the old walls. You see the long avenues of plane trees and the point where the park meets the river Ter. It is a calmer, quieter side of the city than the cathedral and old lanes.
I start under the trees while the town is still quiet and move toward the water as the morning light comes up. Questions are welcome throughout, and I send over a short note on what we saw afterwards.
This suits anyone who wants a slower, more natural session between busier old town walks. It also works well if mornings and open space interest you more than churches.
Included
- Live video walk with a local guide

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
