About this tour
This session walks part of Slottsskogen, a large park that has kept a seal pond and grazing animals inside an otherwise ordinary green space for well over a century. You see the seals up close and the open meadows further into the park. Linnea treats it as a quieter counterpart to her Avenyn session.
She moves at a relaxed pace through the park, pausing longest at the seal pond since the animals draw attention on their own. Questions about the park's history come up occasionally, and she answers briefly before continuing the walk.
This suits anyone wanting an easy, outdoor session after a busier walk through the city. It also suits families, since the seals and grazing animals both hold attention easily on camera.

Further into the park, the meadows open out, and I point out where grazing animals are kept alongside the walking paths locals use every day.

Before you go, the guide sums up with a few things worth remembering: a dish to try: Toast Skagen and Haga, worth a slower look.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
