About this tour

This call covers the riverside promenade and the cable-stayed bridge crossing the Daugava nearby. I explain what the walk looks like at different times of day and when the light works best for a calm view over the water. It is a planning conversation rather than a filmed walk.

We start with what you are hoping to see, then I talk through the promenade and bridge in detail, leaving plenty of room for your questions. I send a short note on timing afterwards.

It suits anyone planning a riverside walk and wanting to pick the best time of day. It also works well as a first call before booking a longer session.

  • A 30-minute call with a local guide
  • Honest tips on where to eat, stay and what to skip
  • A short follow-up note with every place mentioned

Not included

  • Bookings made on your behalf
  • Phone or data charges from your provider

How reviews work

Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
