Statues and lemon trees at Palazzo Pfanner
Highlights
- Baroque statues along a garden path
- Lemon trees against ancient walls
- A garden designed to be seen from above
- Mythology carved in stone
- A calm, formal green space inside the walls
About this tour
This session walks through the formal garden of Palazzo Pfanner, one of the calmer sights inside Lucca's walls. You see a row of baroque statues along the main path, and potted lemon trees set against the town walls behind them. The camera moves slowly to match the garden's own formal layout.
We take a relaxed pace through the statues before pausing longer among the lemon trees, since the setting rewards a slower look. I explain the garden's original design as we go, and take questions throughout.
It suits anyone who wants a quieter, greener session inside Lucca's walls. It also pairs well with a session on the botanical garden nearby.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
