San Lorenzo's street food corner
Highlights
- A street stall beside a covered hall
- Food and leather, sharing one street
- Two trades, generations side by side
- A quieter corner of a busy market
- Everyday commerce, explained on camera
About this tour
This session looks at a smaller corner of San Lorenzo's markets, just outside the main covered hall. You see a street food stall and the leather goods stalls that run alongside it, two very different trades sharing the same streets. The camera moves between the two at a natural pace.
We move at a relaxed pace between the stalls, since the contrast between them is the actual interest here. I explain how both markets developed side by side as we go, and take questions throughout.
It suits anyone who wants a quieter, less crowded corner of San Lorenzo than the main hall. It also pairs well with the full Mercato Centrale session.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
