About this tour
This session is a night walk through the Vucciria and into the Kalsa, following the smoke, wine and music of a Palermo evening. You see the old fish market turned into an open-air bar, a wine bar pouring Sicilian wines from Etna to Marsala, and a small Kalsa bar with live music to close. The Quattro Canti lit up at night marks the midpoint of the route.
The call opens with a sound check, then the guide walks the route stop by stop, pausing to answer questions about the food, wine or music along the way. A short list of the bars visited is sent afterwards.
This suits anyone who prefers a city after dark, or wants the sound and smell of a Palermo evening from a distance.

A Vucciria wine bar 21 min
At a bar just off the square, the guide points to bottles ranging from Etna reds to sweet Marsala, and explains how Sicily's volcanic soil shapes what ends up in the glass.

Passing the Quattro Canti lit up on the way, the walk ends at a small Kalsa bar where a local band plays, and the guide explains why this corner of the old city stays lively so late.

How reviews work
Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". We check reviews before they appear and publish positive and negative ones alike; we remove only reviews that break our rules (insults, personal data, unrelated content). Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
