About this tour

This session follows the Danube quay from New Belgrade into Zemun, finishing at Gardoš tower and the district's old market. The camera takes in Zemun's Austro-Hungarian streets, the view from the tower over the bend in the river, and a riverside table where fish soup and grilled fish are set out. It is a slower look at Belgrade's riverside district apart from the main centre.

The call begins with a sound check, then follows the quay and the old town in order, with time set aside for questions once each stop is on screen. A short note on what the walk covered is sent afterwards.

This suits anyone drawn to riverside towns and old fishing traditions, whether planning a visit to Zemun or remembering one already taken.

  • Sessions run in small groups, up to 10 people, so there is room for everyone to ask something.

How reviews work

Only travellers who booked and paid through Locals Guide and whose tour took place can leave a review, within 60 days of the tour. Every review is marked "Verified booking". Guides cannot pay for, edit or hide reviews, and ratings are the plain average of all published reviews.
