Alexandros Nikolaou

I trained as an archaeologist before moving into guiding full time, and Hadrian's Library still gets more of my attention than almost any other site in the city, partly because so few visitors realise what the building once held. On camera I like showing the Roman layer of Athens that sits quietly beside the more famous classical ruins. I also walk past two very different public sculptures near Syntagma on my other session, because I think a city's newer art deserves as much attention as its ancient monuments. I answer questions in as much detail as anyone wants.
