Alice Neri

I grew up along the Lungarni, so I know exactly which stretch of riverbank photographs best at which hour, and my sessions usually pass Santa Maria della Spina on the way. I film the little Gothic church closely, since its carved pinnacles are easy to miss from across the river even though they cover the whole building. I try to end sessions on the open riverfront itself, since the pastel buildings along the water say something about Pisa that the main square does not. I keep my shots wide there, unlike the closer work earlier on.
