I have run a small stall on Lilla Torg on quieter weekends, so I know the square's half-timbered buildings and cobbles better than most people who only pass through for a coffee. My main session walks the square, explaining which buildings are original from the sixteenth century and which have been carefully restored more recently. A second session stops at Kockska huset, a well-preserved medieval merchant's house nearby, one of the oldest buildings still standing in the city. I like connecting a lively square with a quiet, older building just around the corner from it.
