I swim at La Malagueta most mornings before the beach fills, so filming it at sunrise simply means showing up slightly earlier than usual with a phone instead of a towel. I try to hold the camera steady on the horizon as the light changes, since the colour shifts faster than people expect this close to the water. On calmer calls I walk Parque de Málaga instead, a palm-lined garden between the old town and the port, where the pace is naturally slower. I keep both sessions quiet, letting the setting carry most of the call.
