Amar Hadžić

I grew up two streets from the Karađoz-beg Mosque and spent half my childhood in its courtyard while my uncle worked as a caretaker there. On camera I like starting at the mosque itself, since most visitors know Mostar for one bridge and have never heard of the caravanserai that once stood beside the river a short walk from it. I studied Ottoman-era architecture at university in Sarajevo, which comes up constantly once people notice the carved stonework up close. I also enjoy the quieter walk along the Radobolja stream, where the old watermills still stand, and I keep that session slower and calmer than anything near the main bridge.
