I was eleven when the siege of Sarajevo started and fifteen when it ended. I have been guiding for twelve years, mostly the war history, because visitors want to understand it and because I think it should be told by people who lived through it, carefully and without drama. I also do a gentler walk through Baščaršija, from the Sebilj fountain to the Gazi Husrev-beg mosque, the Orthodox Old Church, the Catholic cathedral and the synagogue, all within a few hundred metres. I lived in Germany for four years as a refugee, which is why I speak German. I will always leave time for questions.
