Amélie Lefèvre

I studied architecture in Brussels and spent years photographing Horta's houses long before I started guiding, so the Art Nouveau streets are where I feel most useful on camera. I like showing the ironwork and glass from angles that are easy to miss on a quick walk past, then explaining what made the style so controversial when it first appeared. I also guide through the European quarter and the Marolles market, since both say something different about how the city has grown. My sessions run a little slower than most, since I would rather cover less ground properly than rush through a long list.
