I have lived on Kungsholmen for over a decade and still walk the waterfront path most evenings regardless of the weather, which is probably why I know exactly where the light falls best for a camera at any given hour. On a session I follow the shoreline explaining how this island shifted from an industrial district to mostly residential across the twentieth century. I studied urban planning and point out specific buildings that mark that transition clearly. I keep the pace steady and let the water itself set the rhythm of the walk.
