Ane Etxeberria

I studied fine art in Bilbao and watched the Guggenheim go up as a teenager, so I have followed the building almost as long as I have followed the city's own recovery around it. On camera I circle the titanium exterior first, since the way light changes its colour through the day is half the point, before describing a couple of the permanent pieces from outside where filming works best. I try to connect the museum back to the industrial river it now sits beside, since neither makes full sense without the other. Guiding by video suits a building this reflective better than I expected when I started.
