Beka Gvaramia

I grew up near Gelati Monastery and spent half my childhood exploring the academy ruins there before I understood what they had actually been. On a call I like to give the mosaics time on camera rather than rushing through the church, since they reward a slow, steady look more than a quick pan. I also take people to Motsameta nearby, where the setting above the gorge is as much the point as the building itself. I keep the history accurate and in order, and I always leave room at the end for whatever question the site raised.
