I trained as a musician before I began guiding, and Gendarmenmarkt is still the square I most enjoy explaining, since it holds a concert hall flanked by two cathedrals that were built to mirror each other despite serving different congregations. On camera I move slowly around all three buildings, pointing out the small differences between the two domes that most visitors never notice. I also run a short evening call for anyone planning to spend an evening around the square.
