I remember the 1989 revolution as a teenager, and Revolution Square is still the site I find hardest and most important to explain, since the events that unfolded here changed the country within days. On camera I keep my pace slow and my tone plain, pointing out the buildings that overlooked the square during that week. I keep a formal, careful pace and always leave space for questions, including from people revisiting family history of their own. Video suits a site like this well, since the camera can simply show what is there without commentary getting in the way.
