I grew up two streets from Cours Mirabeau, so the plane trees and the four fountains along it feel like family. I trained as an art history guide before the pivot to video, and now I like showing people the exact spot where Cézanne set up his easel to paint Sainte-Victoire, then turning the phone so they see the same line of the mountain he saw. On a call I move slowly and stop often, because a screen rewards detail more than a wide shot ever does. I ask what people want to see more of before I move on, and I adjust the whole route around the answer.
