Camille Lambert

Bonjour, I am Camille. I was born in Liège, came to Brussels to study art history at the ULB and have lived in Saint-Gilles for fifteen years, in a flat with an Art Nouveau staircase I am still not allowed to paint. I worked at the Horta Museum for a while, then as a bartender at a lambic café in the centre, and my tours are a mix of both jobs: buildings in the afternoon, beer in the evening. Brussels has a reputation for being grey and complicated. It is complicated, with two languages, nineteen communes and a lot of Eurocrats, but it is not grey if you know which doors to look at. I speak French, Dutch and English. I will also tell you where to buy chocolate that is not in a gold box. These days you can join me from anywhere: I walk Brussels live with my phone and answer questions on the spot.
