I trained as a field ecologist before turning to guiding, so Killarney National Park is where my sessions naturally sit, from Torc Waterfall to the red deer herd that only survives here in Ireland. On camera I move slowly and let the sound of the water or the animals carry the moment before I start explaining what we are looking at. I have guided on video for four years and I plan each session around the season, since the park changes enormously between spring and winter. I answer questions live rather than rushing on, since most of what people ask is exactly what makes this place worth showing.
