I worked for a period as a research assistant cataloguing items in the Palace Armoury before I started guiding on camera. I show the Grandmaster's Palace from the courtyard and describe pieces from the armoury's collection in detail, since filming inside the museum itself is not permitted. I like focusing on a handful of specific items each session rather than trying to cover the whole collection, since a closer look tends to hold people's attention better. I have guided in Valletta for three years and still enjoy the research side of the job.
