Catriona Wishart

I've worked around Kelvingrove for over a decade, first as a gallery assistant and now as a guide, so I know the building's front elevation better than almost anywhere else in the city. On camera I like to frame the whole sandstone facade before moving in on individual details, since the building's scale is part of the point. I studied Scottish art history at university, which comes through heavily in how I talk about the West End generally. I keep my pace deliberately unhurried, since a museum front rewards a longer look than most buildings do.
