Charlotte Weiss

I trained as a painter before guiding, so the Städel Museum's collection is what I know best on camera, even though the works themselves cannot be filmed inside. I stand outside and describe specific paintings from across seven centuries, colour and composition first, then their place in the wider collection. I also walk the Museumsufer, since the row of museums along the river gives a good sense of how much the city has invested in art beyond this one building.
