I have walked the clifftop paths at the edge of the Calanques since I was a child, so I know exactly where the view opens up and where the wind makes the camera shake if I am not careful. Later in the day I like showing Vallon des Auffes, a fishing cove barely wide enough for its own boats, as a quieter contrast to the open cliffs. I trained as a hiking guide before moving most of my work online, and I still think in terms of a route even on a short call. I keep the pace slow and leave real silence for people to look.
