I trained as a guide specialising in Romania's royal history, and Peleș Castle in nearby Sinaia is still the building I most enjoy showing, since King Carol I built it as a genuinely lavish home rather than a defensive fortress like most Transylvanian castles nearby. On camera I move around the castle's exterior and grounds, describing the interior rooms I cannot film during a tour. I keep a formal, detailed pace and welcome specific questions about the royal family's history. Video works well for a building this ornate, since the camera can linger on architectural details a quick pass on foot would miss.
