I moved to Greenwich from Gdańsk partly because I liked that it was another city built around ships, and I have guided its maritime sights for most of the years since. My sessions cover the Royal Observatory and the meridian line, and separately the Old Royal Naval College's courtyard, since both need a bit of climbing or careful framing to show properly on camera. I explain the astronomy and navigation history in enough depth for genuinely curious visitors, without assuming everyone wants a physics lecture. Living in a maritime city myself makes the comparisons easy to draw when people ask.
