I grew up just off O'Connell Street and watched the Spire go up as a teenager, so the street's more recent history is one I have lived through rather than only read about. On camera I like explaining how a street rebuilds itself after upheaval, from the Spire's construction to the shopfronts and arcades around Grafton Street nearby. Four years of guiding on video has taught me to keep a session focused on one stretch of street at a time rather than trying to cover the whole city centre. I answer questions live as they come.
