Deniz Kaptan

I have worked around Bodrum harbour since I was a teenager, first crewing on gulets and later training as a guide once I knew every stretch of the marina and the castle above it. My family has fished from this coast for three generations, and I still notice which boats belong to which families as they come in. On camera I like keeping the frame low, at deck height, so the castle walls rise up the way they do from the water rather than from a hilltop road. What I enjoy most is a call where someone asks about a specific boat and I can actually answer.
