Despoina Kousathana

I grew up in Chora within sight of the windmills, close enough that I can still hear them creak on windy nights even now that most no longer turn. On camera I like starting near the water so the whitewashed houses of Little Venice fill the frame before I explain how the windmills once ground the island's wheat. I also studied art history and enjoy pointing out how Paraportiani's five small chapels were joined together over different centuries rather than built as one plan. I keep my calls relaxed and I am happy to repeat anything in Greek if that helps.
